Photovoltaic module is the core part of the whole power generation system, which is composed of photovoltaic module pieces or photovoltaic modules of different specifications cut by laser cutting machine or steel wire cutting machine. Since the current and voltage of a single photovoltaic cell are very small, high voltage should be obtained in series first, then high current should be obtained in parallel, output through a diode (to prevent current return transmission), then packaged on a stainless steel, aluminum or other non-metallic frame, installed on the upper glass and the back plate on the back, filled with nitrogen and sealed. Combining photovoltaic modules in series and parallel becomes a photovoltaic module array, also called photovoltaic array.
Working principle: The sun shines on the semiconductor p-n junction to form a new hole-electron pair. Under the action of the p-n junction electric field, the hole flows from the P region to the N region, and the electron flows from the N region to the P region. After the circuit is connected, a current is formed. Its function is to convert solar energy into electrical energy and send it to the battery for storage or to push the load to work.
Component Type:
Monocrystalline silicon: photoelectric conversion rate of 18%, the highest can reach 24%, is the highest conversion rate of all photovoltaic modules, generally using tempered glass and waterproof resin package, durable, the service life is generally up to 25 years.
② polysilicon: photoelectric conversion rate of 14%, similar to the production process of monocrystalline silicon, polysilicon is different from the photoelectric conversion rate is lower, lower price, shorter life, but polysilicon material manufacturing is simple, saving power consumption, low production costs, so it has been vigorously developed.
Amorphous silicon: photoelectric conversion rate of 10%, with monocrystalline silicon and polycrystalline silicon production method is completely different, is a thin film solar cell, the process is greatly simplified, silicon material consumption is small, lower power consumption, its main advantage is in weak light conditions can also generate electricity.
